Our Vision and Mission

Trinity Church of Greenville is so named as a declaration of our belief that Holy God has revealed Himself throughout human history as Father, Son and Holy Spirit….One God in three Persons. 

We believe that Jesus Christ “being in very nature God, took on the role of servant and became like other humans.”  “We believe that he lived a selfless, obedient life and died a selfless, obedient death”—on the cross.  We are committed to patterning our lives after Him, and doing the work He has asked us to do.  We humbly take the name Christian as his followers.

We depend on the Holy Spirit to provide us with the gifts necessary to be the Church. The Spirit does the inner work of transformation in our lives as believers as well as the power and guidance needed to live the life of Christ’s disciples.

Trinity Church’s mission rests on four main objectives…we call them the “pillars of our church.”  They are Love God, Love Others, Grow in Christlikeness, and Invite Others into the Kingdom.  Our Worship, Ministries, Mission efforts, in fact, every endeavor that we undertake, is designed to help us embody these ideals.  The columns that support our sanctuary are a delightful reminder of our commitment.
